Violinist Kristine Pacheco is a freelance musician and teacher in the Santa Barbara area. She holds a Master of Music degree in Solo Violin Performance from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of California Berkeley. She has studied with members of the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and the Alexander String Quartet.
Kristine has dedicated herself to learning the arts of orchestral, chamber, and solo playing. She has over ten years of experience playing in ensembles that include: the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony, the UC Berkeley Symphony, San Francisco State University Chamber Ensembles, the San Francisco Academy Orchestra, and numerous opera and musical theater productions. During the summers she enjoys attending music festivals and has participated in the Opera Academy of California Festival Orchestra (2012), the National Orchestral Institute (2011), and the Atlantic Music Festival (2010). Her other musical travels have included participating in the Oxford Chamber Music Course in Oxford, England and the Classical Music Festival: Haydn Festspiele in Eisenstadt, Austria.
